'Chhatra Gourav' Award to Dr Bansidhar Panda

On the occasion of completion of 150 years by the oldest educational institution of Odisha, Ravenshaw Collegiate School, the first phase of its 150th birth celebration will start from 23rd January, the 103rd birth day of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The eminent industrialist Dr Bansidhar Panda will be honoured with 'CHHATRA GOURAV' Award as an outstanding erstwhile student of this institution. Prior to this two outstanding former students of this institution Radhanath Rath and Tribikram Pati were also honoured. The present head master of this school, Rudra Narayan Mohanty, will also be honoured as a distinguished teacher. It has been unanimously decided in the meeting of the celebration committee held on 17th to observe various programmes from morning till night on that day. State level inter-school speech and drawing competition, quiz and science exhibition will be organised on this occasion and winning participants will be awarded with prizes.
